Driven by Passion

Jesse T comes from a family rich in mechanical inventiveness; growing among four siblings. Growing up with his father—a skilled carpenter and a mechanic—he developed a deep fascination with disassembling and comprehending equipment. Jesse got his early passion with tinkering from seeing his father overhaul carburetors in their living room. His never-ending curiosity drove him to investigate the internal mechanisms of everything he could get his hands on, from bicycles to vehicles.

 

Under the guidance of his father and Uncle Mark, Jesse imbibed the values of diligence and perseverance, realizing that these virtues are indispensable in achieving one’s goals. His affinity for automobiles paved the path for his career, beginning as an automotive technician. Enrolling in numerous technical courses, Jesse endeavored to deepen his understanding of automotive mechanics, eventually earning himself the position of Lead Technician at every workplace he joined, specializing particularly in diagnostics.

 

Beyond his professional pursuits, Jesse’s passion for speed and racing defined much of his youth. Whether it was drag racing or any other high-speed competition, Jesse and his older brother were fixtures at racing events throughout the region, attending nearly every weekend.

Towards Fasterlines

To understand how Jesse landed a career opportunity at Fasterlines/FastCW, we asked him to elaborate on the whole process. He shared – “I was first introduced to Fasterlines/FastCW by Rob Meng, the CEO and founder. We live in a small town, and we met at the local coffee shop”. “Rob has this glow and passion for “moving the line” and technology, which I was really impressed about, but eventually Rob’s belief in my knowledge of the automotive industry is what led towards me taking up this opportunity”, he continued.

As the COO

Jesse T’s core responsibilities encompass overseeing the tech team, spearheading the development and integration of novel hardware solutions, ensuring stringent quality control measures, and driving continuous process enhancements. Constant innovation is at the heart of their approach, constantly brainstorming strategies to enhance operational efficiency.

 

Recognizing the significance of even minor adjustments within the office environment, Jesse emphasizes their potential to translate into substantial time savings for clients and their patrons. With a network spanning over 500 locations and aspirations to reach 10,000, Jesse is committed to delivering significant time savings across the board, as well as the ability to track lost revenue due to delays in line. The system and processes provide actionable data sets to make both quick and long-term decisions, whether for a quick-serve restaurant, car wash, oil change facility, or convenience store. If it has a line, Jesse’s system can help.

 

Their team’s ultimate goal is to eliminate the frustration of waiting in line, striving to optimize processes to ensure swift and seamless service delivery. Jesse understands firsthand the impact of prolonged wait times, empathizing with customers’ desire for swift and efficient service. Through their relentless dedication to refinement and improvement, Jesse and their team aim to transform the waiting experience, making every moment count for both customers and businesses alike.

On a Personal Note

During his leisure time, Jesse T prioritizes family, cherishing his roles as a father and husband above all else. With a loving wife and two daughters, family time takes precedence in his life. Their small hobby farm, populated with pigs, chickens, ducks, and guinea fowl, provides a tranquil retreat where Jesse indulges his love for nature and the outdoors. He finds solace in activities such as hiking and enjoys summer days spent by the lake. Jesse recognizes the importance of decompressing with activities that bring joy and fulfillment, ensuring a balanced and fulfilling lifestyle outside of work.
