After taking up the mantle as the CEO of JOB AIR Technic, Vladimir Stulancak started involving himself working with people and utilizing creativity to help achieve the company’s objectives. As the current CEO he is pretty much responsible for everything at the aircraft maintenance facility, and he governs the operations with the help of the onboard management team and all the employees. He treats everyone equally, and feels that everyone is equally valuable and responsible for smooth operations of the facility. He also regularly involves himself in strategy making and monitors the operations, working relentlessly even beyond his scope of work and expertise.

Considering the pandemic phase, Vladimir Stulančák and his whole team were taken aback initially due to the suddenness of the events. But with no options in hand – they had to react quickly, as the aviation industry was one of the first to be affected, and the impact was felt. With most of the customers having grounded their fleets and canceled maintenance, which resulted in causing temporary outages. However, under the capable leadership of Mr. Vladimir, the facility was able to take advantage of their specialization, location, and airport infrastructure to become a partner for companies in need of aircraft parking, which generated work for the next few years. “I made it a daily priority to lead this process, and we didn’t just wait for things to improve. Instead, we met daily and applied standard crisis management protocols. Our success in 2021 speaks for itself”, shares Mr. Vladimir.

And when Mr. Vladimir was asked about his availability towards all his subordinates and colleagues at JOB AIR Technic, he responded about how from the beginning of his career, he has learnt that it’s important to be available 24/7. While regularly communicating with all employees through various forms such as all-staff meetings, team meetings, weekly check-ins with the leaders, and an open-door policy, Mr. Vladimir ensures a just culture is followed within the company. Even though this approach has been successful, Mr. Vladimir talks about certain areas and times when it can feel overwhelming, but he is always there for the rescue – recognizing the need to reduce it in order to focus on strategic issues.

Going down the lane Mr. Vladimir looks forward towards stabilizing the company’s organic growth and slowly introducing permanent products and services to their customers. Also, looking ahead, Mr. Vladimir’s long-term plans at the facility include expanding or acquiring new companies, with a focus on areas of maintenance that provide higher added value, and diversification of the business is also a priority
