Hailing from a family with a background in construction, Nadir’s family leased out a building to an Italian pharmaceutical company, and this presented them with a chance for collaboration and investment in Albania. As luck would have it, they eventually gained complete ownership of the company, and Nadir took on the mantle of CEO.
Navigating the complexities of management, Nadir encountered hurdles unique to his experience in leading a company finding its footing in capitalism. The expectations that accompanied his CEO status weighed heavily on him, but through perseverance and dedication to learning, Nadir grew into a true leader. At first, Nadir Causholli wasn’t particularly professional, but over time, he learned a lot from his mistakes, as well as from others and various experiences. It became essential for him to be a person capable of adapting to reality within the community and, of course, within the business itself. As his management style evolved, it became more stable due to his increased experience in the field. Now, as a CEO with other managers overseeing different areas, Nadir Causholli tries to communicate with his staff more as a friend and mentor. He values the opportunity to share his extensive 21 years of experience in this field with his team.

Numerous obstacles were encountered by Nadir on his path to CEO, making it far from easy. The difficulties increased as the company reached new heights and he ascended further up the ladder. Despite this, he was committed to overcoming each challenge and remained steadfast. Immense personal growth and resilience marked his journey to becoming the current CEO, cementing his status as an industry leader.
Nadir Causholli’s tenure as CEO of the pharmaceutical company has been characterized by exceptional achievements. Under his leadership, the company has emerged as the industry’s pioneer, capturing an impressive 45% market share in Albania. This remarkable feat stands as a testament to the years of hard work, dedication, and strategic decision-making that Nadir has invested in the company’s success.
Going down the line, the current mission of CFO Pharma is to achieve success as an international company, given their existing presence in the international market. Their initial objective of becoming one of the leading companies in the Albanian and Kosovo markets has almost been accomplished, as they have managed to cover a significant portion of these markets.

When we asked Nadir Causholli about his life beyond his professional avatar he shared – “To be honest with you, I normally work all day, 24 hours a day, only when I’m asleep I don’t work. I am available 24/7 and return messages 24/7”. “I usually take a break from reading the news to be more up to date because being up to date helps me and the decisions I want to make for my businesses. Now I am dedicated to my businesses, to create new opportunities to grow my businesses”, he continued. Through a brief conversation with us he also spoke about how relaxation comes second now at these moments, as he wants to relax more when he expands his businesses and puts good managers in their direction so he doesn’t have to focus/worry on his company’s growth all the time.
To be candid, Nadir Causholli’s dedication to his businesses often leaves little time for family responsibilities. The majority of his days are spent immersed in work, with approximately 90% of his time allocated to professional endeavors and only 10% devoted to his family.
When faced with the pressure of maintaining the success of his businesses, Nadir Causholli tends to prioritize work over hobbies and personal desires. Consequently, his current free time revolves around his business pursuits.
Nadir Causholli acknowledges that his personal training has played a significant role in enhancing his ability to manage his work effectively. He firmly believes that being well-prepared strengthens his capacity to absorb, react, and resolve various problems and challenges that may arise.
Lastly, when we asked Nadir Causholli about the biggest problem he faced on a personal level, he shared – “Undoubtedly, one of my most formidable personal undertakings has been assuming ownership of a specialized German hospital in Albania that focuses on treating heart conditions, boasting the expertise of some of Europe’s finest specialists”.
